This cabin was totally re-modeled in 2013 with your 'Vacation Satisfaction' as its goal. On the lakeside of the cabin is all windows with a sliding glass door to the patio where you will find a picnic table and new gas grill. The lakeside half of the cabin has a complete kitchen, dining, and living area. The big bathroom, and 2 private bedrooms adjoin.

The lake provides swimming, boating and good pan fishing with an occasional bass, pike or walleye. This lake is home to beaver, otter, loons, songbirds and nearby nesting bald eagles. Deer, bear and grouse are abundant and a moose occasionally visits the lake. A fire pit is in the yard and firewood is supplied for your hot dogs, snacks and relaxation. This cabin and its private 100 açres on a private lake, allow you to reconnect with nature and enjoy the convenience of a small town only minutes away.

We encourage long term stays and will consider reducing the rates for periods over 30 days. The property is centrally located in the Western U.P. which allows day trips to all the scenic and historical sites in this area. 4G service call be utilized via a hike of 1/2 mile to a high bluff on the property. Also this bluff provides scenic views of the Paint river valley and Crystal Falls in the distance. A table located atop this bluff allows you to take a break, enjoy lunch and use your cell phone and computer. A RR train crosses the north end of the lake daily.

This property is the total package for guests who want privacy, it is possible that you won't see another person. The cabin is off the grid and electrical power is provided by a Honda, quiet, generator with a start switch inside the cabin. Electrical service is provided through out the cabin and gas lights are also available in every room. The major appliances are powered by propane fuel.

Note: While there are great trails for ATVs and ORVs nearby, these vehicles are not permitted on property itself. Absolutely NO smoking and NO pets.

Car: necessary This cabin is centrally located in the Western end of the U.P. its an easy day drive to the Porcupine Mts., Lakes Superior and Michigan, historic sites and casinos. Some world famous trout streams are nearby. If you like fishing big water the Michagamme reservoir is 5 minutes away with a great boat launch and world class fishing. The area is a photographers delight, for wildlife, birds, landscape, ext. The property is very private/secluded, you may not see another person while staying at this property. Included on this 100 acres 1/4 mile away is our private/secluded Lodge. This property is 5 Miles from Crystal Falls and 1 mile off Rock Crusher Rd. via a well maintained two track and is behind a locked gate.
